happiness is the result."

About Me
I feel privileged to work as a Reiki practitioner and Craniosacral therapist. I consider energetic touch to be sacred.
I have experienced the many benefits of these energetic treatments myself. I started my study of Reiki in 2010 and became a Certified Reiki Master in 2012 and more recently achieved Reiki Master Teacher status in the Usui System of Natural Healing under Constance Herris.
Along the way, I became interested in Craniosacral Therapy after having a treatment that was so effective as to be life changing. I pursued my study at the Heartwood Institute in St. Paul, Minnesota and am a Certified CranioSacral Therapist.
Treatments
Craniosacral Therapy
CranioSacral Therapy is an extremely gentle manual therapy that helps to release restrictions that impede the function of the membranes and fluids that surround your brain and spinal cord known as your craniosacral system. CranioSacral Therapy treatment may provide relief from a variety of symptoms including headaches, neck pain and side effects of cancer treatment among many others.
A practitioner works with the bones of the skull and the pelvis, releasing tensions deep in the central nervous system so that every other system in the body can relax and self-correct. It helps you naturally free yourself from pain, stress, and discomfort.
This affects, in turn, the deeper layers of membranes and cerebrospinal fluids in the spinal canal, the brain, and the spinal cord itself.
Sound Healing
The use of sound for healing goes back to ancient times and in modern times is found to bring about profound states of relaxation and renewed well-being.
The feeling aspect of sound is experienced through instruments such as chimes, singing bowls, and tuning forks—where applied sound is directed on the body for healing.
Sound healing with tuning forks is a non-invasive, complementary therapy to help balance and harmonize the body’s vital energy centers.
Reiki
Reiki is a hands-on, natural, energetic healing using the universal life force energy. The term comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” which means vital life force energy that flows through all living things. Reiki, an abundant, gentle spiritual energy is not tied to any specific religion or nationality.
At the simplest level, it appears that Reiki treatment helps lessen the impact of stress, releasing tension from the entire system. Not only does a person move toward their own balance in body, mind and spirit, the body's own healing mechanisms often begin functioning more effectively.
